BAXTER'S COOLER CART

I used the Ryobi plans for their cooler cart and made some modifications. It was too large so I reduced the length. Then I put hinged doors on the top. I had to go back and construct a sliding section to make it easier to get the cooler in and out. The wood used on the plaque is from my childhood house, a garden fence built in 1957. This was my first major project. I stained it with a dark stain and then put several coats of outdoor poly. This was a Christmas gift for my daughter and her family.
I am only guessing on the hours. I spent many days over several months!

  • This looks fanstastic! Beautiful work on the assembly, and especially the stain and finish. Particularly love two thing about this project: 1- that you modified The Party Station plan to suit your specific needs, and 2- that you recycled wood that has some personal history. Bravo, friend!
