Bathroom shelf for guest bathroom

With some company coming into town for a visit my wife approached me about a project to spruce up the guest bathroom. She asked if I could build her some shelves quickly as I had a business trip coming up. I went out back and scrounged up some good pallet wood and started my work. I also had some great boat/cargo rope so I knew I wanted to do something with that. I cut everything with my ryobi jigsaw and sanded down most of the rough spots (she likes shabby). Next I fitted it all together and sealed it up with some chalk paint and a topcoat. It was a huge success as my wife is thrilled with the finished product. Materials used -two side rails of a pallet (sides of shelf) -one plank from pallet cut into thirds (shelf) -boat rope Jigsaw Sander Drill Screws 1" wood bit (rope holes) Paint Top coat

Nice use of materials you already had! Digging the color choice as well.
