Bathroom Makeover

Our bathroom was outdated and needed a lot of improvements so we decided to gut the entire thing and start fresh. As a new homeowner it was our first project we decided to do. We had a feeling we were going to run into a lot of trouble when doing this because the shower was not sealed correctly which allowed water to go behind the tile. We found that the wrong drywall was used and we corrected it with cement board in the shower and mold and moisture resistant since the bathroom can get steamy and wet. We did a nice dark tile with a mosaic border that blended perfectly. Since the bathroom was small we did a diamond pattern on the floor to make it look bigger. In the shower we framed out the window with tile a little differently than most people do to give it a unique look. This was my first tile project and a somewhat big one to conquer. Everything turned out perfect and everyone loves it
