Basement Stairs Redo

My basement stairs were in terrible condition so I measured each step which were all decent sizes because of basement wall and went to Home Depot and purchased 16' foot boards and had them cut each one. I then purchased luan and cut them to size for the risers. Primed and painted them and installed them. Painting them took several days in between coats and drying time.

  • Wow! This doesn't even look like the same stair case! Excellent results. You should definitely be proud of this turn out!

  • Thank you! As a single divorced woman, I've taught myself a lot in tackling home improvements, and I am proud of my accomplishments.
