I had a corner notch out in the basement that was just covered in clutter. I wanted to clean up the basement and be able to entertain a few friends and always wanted a bar. So I Added one, and turned that wasted space into a small bar area to entertain at. I removed all the old paneling and then realized it ruined all the underlying drywall from the adhesive. so i re-drywalled the whole basement and painted in the Chicago Bears Theme color. Then i rough framed out a bar that i thought was a good size for the area. I used a Ryobi Wet saw to cut my 12x12 tile and Mosaic tile. I layed the tile in a subway pattern for a little added detail and it turned out great. On the back of the barside i have nooks that hold a mini fridge and a microwave as well. I feel i really turned the area into something much more than it was before and am very pleased.
