I wanted some barstools for our breakfast bar in the house. I saw outdoor stools on Ana-White and decided to alter the dimensions to fit my bar height. I knew I wanted rustic, and I knew I wanted to try out either chalk paint or milk paint (I ended up going with the milk paint). I was surprised how difficult it was to use dowels to make furniture. It was a good thing I didn't need everything perfect because everything was near impossible to line up. After a lot of patience and a lot of sanding, I got my finished product! I love how they turned out and I love how sturdy they are! I
