I used old fence wood that was on my in-laws parents farm for about 20 years. Someone ended up crashing into the fence with their vehicle and the fence was torn down and stored in one of the barns on my in-laws property. The wood then sat there for another 15-20 years. I cut all the wood down made it into a sliding barn door for my son's nursery.

  • Awesome idea for a nursery door! This is beautiful work. We see a lot of barn doors, but this is one of the few that has the double-door look. Awesome work!

  • Really nice project. Almost looks like a double door where the top opens separate, like you would see at a horse stable. The width and arch on the bottom section makes it more unique than all the others you see being made. Good work.

  • I love your design. To think it's all 15-20 year old reclaimed wood, amazing. Did you put a poly on it for protection?
