My lovely girlfriend is obsessed with old barn doors and show me a picture of a barn door headboard. This was my first attempt at a headboard. I deconstructed a bunch of pallets (It was pretty time consuming), and then thought it would be best to make my own barn doors (I thought how hard could it be). After a few miss measurements, I finally constructed two barn doors. Then to surprise the girlfriend, I added to reading lights, which I purchased from the outdoor lighting section at my local home depot.
Over all I am very happy with the end product.
