My friend had a large piece of bamboo which had fallen over in his back yard.
He gave it to me to use for a project.
I discovered the sections were perfectly sized to hold honey straws, and decided to make a holder for them.
I used a hand saw to cut the sections down to size, and a propane torch to heat treat/dry the wood.
I then wrapped the sections in rope to hold them together.
