After my wife and I bought our first house, we realized we needed better storage and a place to work on projects. With no garage, we decided to build a shed/workshop in the backyard. We started building the shed in January 2015 and have spent many weekends constructing what is now a 12 X 16 workshop. We put ourselves on a strict budget and did all of the work ourselves, with much help from family and friends. To save money and add character, we used reclaimed doors, windows, and tin, and for the exterior, we found old cedar paneling that we repurposed into the siding. We could not have done this DIY project without our Ryobi tools, especially the nailer, reciprocating saw, and impact drill. We have had some set backs and learned from more than a few mistakes in the process, but for our first building project, we couldn't be happier and more proud of the outcome. We are excited to utilize the space to complete even more projects in the future. Thanks for the assist with the great tools, Ryobi!
