After nearly 2 years of planning and 6 weeks of construction our new backyard patio cover/outdoor kitchen was almost complete. The only thing left to add was a swing. I picked up the Ryobi AirStrike nailer several months ago specifically for this project so it was exciting to finally get the chance to use it. The plans were very simple and my wife and I were pretty impressed with the results! To finish, I started with Rustoleum Weather Gray. After a lot of sanding and distressing, I thought it was a little too blue for our tastes. I went over it with a light coat of Minwax Espresso PolyShades and the results turned out way better than I could expected! Thanks for the plans and the amazing Ryobi AirStrike nailer... The convenience of not having to deal with an air compressor is priceless.
