In the summer of 2010 my husband and I decided we wanted to build something wonderful in our rather boring back yard. What started out as a patio and bench in the back yard turned into a 12ft Gazebo. It is our pride and joy and we worked very hard that summer to get it done in time to enjoy it, at least for a little while, before the snow came. I still get a thrill each time I see it, knowing we did it all ourselves everything from removing the sod to putting on the shingles. I am a big fan of Ryobi tools and we used just about every one we own when doing the project. We have many of the One+ tools including the drill/driver, circular saw, reciprocating saw, flashlights and more. We also own a Ryobi compound miter saw and many of the lawn care tools.
I blogged about my project at http://diydames.blogspot.com/2010/05/my-summer-project-building-gazbo.html throughout the entire time. This is the final blog entry, http://diydames.blogspot.com/2010/09/gazebo-project-end.html
