Art easel and chlakboard

It's just a simple chalkboard easel . I love building things and my little girl likes using chalk so I thought it would be a great idea to build this. I used an old draw out of I don't even remember now but it was 36"x23" oak front (saved for something else) and pine sides, used for the legs, chalk holder, and board frame. the pine plywood bottom was used for the chalkboard.

  • Awesome work! Your little one must be really excited to use this. 3M also makes dry-erase tape- if you want to, you could tape the back of it so she has two surfaces to color on!
