Adirondack Pallet Chair

  • August 19, 2016

I liked the Idea of challenging myself to use a certain amount of material to make something. And I wanted to see if I could make a project that I could utilize most of the pallet and not leave too many scraps. After Taking apart the pallet and measuring the different lengths. I figured I would try and make a chair. I choose the Adirondack style because I could take advantage of the Long Lengths of wood the Pallet was made off with having to make many cuts and creating lots of waste. I learned that it very difficult to use a limited amount of material. But with extra time and a lot of different glue ups i was able to complete the project

  • Wow! It's amazing that you were able to salvage so much wood from the pallet! An Adirondack chair was a great choice to use up as many long lengths of wood as possible. Excellent work- it turned out great!
