I modified some plans I found on the internet, and made this Adirondack Loveseat completely out of pressure-treated pine, galvanized bolts and nuts and washers, and Deckmate screws from the Home Depot.

  • Great looking chair! Do you have a material list (size and length) and a cut list? Thank you.

  • Thanks, the loveseat is based on Norm Abram's New Yankee Workshop plans for his Adirondack chair, which are readily available on the internet by searching "New Yankee Workshop Adirondack chair." For the loveseat, I basically doubled the width, and upgraded the front and back legs to 5/4 decking boards. I also upgraded the front horizontal piece under the seat slats to a 2x4, and glued and screwed an additional 2x4 under the lower horizontal piece in the back to give it additional strength to hold 2 people. To further strengthen the chair, I used polyurethane glue on all the joints where wood meets wood (in addition to galvanized screws and bolts on all the joints). So glad you like it!
