Adirondack Chairs

Having built a two seat settee last year, it was decided that we needed matching chairs. I took the plans for the settee and removed the center section to make the chairs. I have to say that even though these set a little low to the ground, they are surprisingly comfortable and easy to get in and out of.

  • What a great way to adapt an existing design to suit your needs. You did a really beautiful job on these chairs. Love that finish, too!

  • Thank you! We are enjoying them almost on a daily basis. Our friends and family really like the chairs and have requested that I make more for them :)

  • Way to go! These would definitely make amazing gifts. You could even personalize the little cut-out in the back.
