'ASIAN PAGODA'

My pond is done in asian landscape theme.

After designing , digging, plumbing, making faux concrete rocks, faux painting the rocks.

All done by hand. Shovel, pick, and a wheel barrow. ( lots of sore muscles and perspiration)

I never kept track of how much rebar or 80lb concrete bags I used. It was lots thou.

Now I needed a place for pumps,etc.

My idea was a Asian Pagoda/Gazebo where you could stand and enjoy the sound of the water falls.. without falling in.

Soooo onto the next phase.

I studied how asian pagodas were built in China and Japan. Went to the Japanese Garden in Seattle and Portland.

I designed and built my 'PAGODA"

Even thou I used bolts, washers, nuts and screws to hold the bones together.

I tried to give the illusion it was put together with wooden pegs. ( I guess thats cheating a little bit)

Underneath the Pagoda is my overflow, skimmer, and filter and valves.

I did all work by myself.

I used Ryobi corded and cordless tools and etc. tools

Thanks for looking,

Zee

Wow all of your projects are totally awesome !! such creativity ! But I do have a question in the difficulty department.. This 'ASIAN PAGODA' should be in the Advanced or Super Advanced category. Some of your projects are in the easy where they should be in the intermediate class and ones in the Advanced should be in intermediate. Your Asian Pagoda seems like it would be a very hard project to measure the cuts and screw, bolts and haul all the cement to place and make everything fit together.. Awesome presentation and creativity.. but I really think they are all in the wrong levels of difficulty.
