I followed one of Shanty-2-Chic’s YouTube tutorials to make this dining room hand painted sign. I love it! I used a panel board instead of plywood because it was cheaper, and 1”x2”s for the frame. $20 total for everything, including the white paint and stain for the frame. (My son already owned a projector that the plans called for, so no need to buy one) I used a heavy duty sharpie for the lettering instead of paint...I found this easier. I had looked into ordering this custom made, it would have been well over $250 for a sign this big. Score one for the DIYers!
