I wanted new side tables but the budget was tight so I decided to build them using scraps I had kicking around from past projects. Originally they were to have 4 legs but I only had enough wood for 3, lol. So, the 3 leg side table was born. I started building them with 1x2's for legs because I liked the more delicate look. But ended up swapping them out for 2x2 for more stability. These are my first round tops and so I made a simple jig to be sure I was marking a perfect circle for them. I love how clean and simple they are. They don't take up a lot of space visually or physically which is a bonus in our tiny master bedroom.
