I belong to a group of Old West Reenactors in Florida. One of our members started building an Old West town, Periwinkle Junction, using pallets he disassembled and reassembled as sections of buildings. Our town included "The Lonely Lady Saloon", "Gun Shop", Marshal's Office", Mercantile", "Buffalo Chip's Chow Hall", "Boot Hill Cemetery", "Outhouse" and Water Tower. The town tears down into sections and is stored on site on a flatbed trailer. This, unfortunately, exposes it to weather and the Town has suffered dry rot and damage over the past few years. The site has no power and is a railroad right-of-way so hand or cordless power tools are a must! Several of us, with our Ryobi cordless tools, got together and effected some very needed repairs and will be doing more extensive repairs this summer. We plan to add more panels to several buildings and make them a complete building able to be used by members on Event weekends to camp out on site. Yee Haw! More to come!
This makes my day!
this is loads of fun. I'd love to have a drink and maybe get in an argument with a poker cheat at the Lonely Lady.
