My 6 year old wanted his own castle.
I cut up an old bunk bed and supported with 2×4s and cut plywood to take shape of thd castle. I then used a dremmel and heat gun on strips of insulation board to create a stone effect with paint. There is an upper bed level and underneath is a lounging area. All decor is from old furniture like headboards. This is one of a kind

  • We bet he is so happy! Have his friends seen this yet?

    • Yes I put a little tv and lights underneath and he has a hideout. The "shutters" up top is an old head board cut in half and when open, the kids can look out like a tower.

  • This looks very cool. Did you just use pink insulation board? What did you use for paint?
