Dad asked me to help build a new deck for his barbecue area so I showed up with a bunch of my own tools to help. He wasn't impressed with my Ryobi One+ tools. He said that my circular saw was a toy and it would be too small and gutless to do any real work. It took us 4 days to finish the deck and we were very proud of our work. 2 weeks later he asked me to come and help with a second deck at the back of the house. I rocked up empty handed this time only to find that he'd gone out and bought just about every Ryobi One+ tool available! After using the few tools I owned, he'd been completely converted. The 30 square metre back deck (including rails and shade sail) was built using only cordless Ryobi tools. I am a chef and he is a storeman, so between us we had very little building experience. There are still a few finishing touches to do but for a total of about 10 days of work, we couldn't be happier with the results.
