Super Chunky Farmhouse Coffee Table for my beautiful wife. This is my first project ever! She couldn’t find a coffee table that suited her taste so she found this one and asked if I could build it. “You know I can!”, was my reply. Would really appreciate the tools to feed my hobby as I embrace this new challenge of becoming a Master Woodworker!

  • What a great job on your first build! What was your favorite part of this project?
By RYOBI NATION, on May 22, 2018
    • My favorite part was the satisfaction of the build upon its completion and the reward of my wife’s smile.  Thank you for asking!

    • That's truly the best feeling!

  • Great job! 👍 Do you suddenly have a build list from your wife? 😁
By kyleepete, on May 25, 2018
    • Thanks kyleepete for the comment.  Yes I do, I feel now it will be never ending.  However money is not and have to budget tools/materials!  They get expensive if you have very little, just starting.  Next up though is the Shanty 2 Chic Barn Door Bedside Table with Wall Sconce and Barn Door Headboard Bed to match.  Eventually I would like to make the Barn Door Entertainment Center.  😉

    • I know what you mean. I have a build list a mile long because even though it's cheaper to build, I have a budget to stick to. I've slowly been building my tools the past couple of years. I also have a list of tools I want that's a mile long! Ha For my first build all I had was a drill! I borrowed my neighbors Kreg jig.

    • I wish you the best kyleepete in all your builds and tool wish list!  It really is a good feeling when you see something come together and look even better than on paper.
