1Pallet coffee table.

So this project started with a coffee table. I had previously made a one pallet coffee table for my wife a year prior to this build. However, it was HIDEOUS! So after learning some extra DIY skills it was time for an upgrade! I found a pallet under a pile of wood I had stashed in the yard buried under some wire spool wheels. It was meant to be more than just a pallet. It was one of the few that disassembled perfectly. I did not waste a single board! So a few cuts here and there, some, creative paint techniques and some distressing, a new and improved coffee table was born!

How great that you were able to disassemble the pallet so beautifully! The final result is flawless. The creative paint techniques you used look like they really paid off! What color stain is that?

The stain for the table top is actually a watered down gray paint that I applied with a rag. I let it dry and thes sanded it with 220 grit for a smooth finish and applied wax. I got really lucky on this pallet! It came apart with no waste and was exactly enough for the table!
