1940s Kitchen Renovation in Olde Town

  • November 29, 2017

Our mostly original 1940s kitchen needed an update. So I learned some new kitchen design skills, took down a wall, and built a few of the cabinets and panels form scratch (the other cabinets were purchased from a cabinet maker in Oregon). I worked with a licensed electrician to get the electrical done right. I installed all of the cabinets myself. Friends and family all helped along the way with cabinet assembly, painting, and floor installation. We're very pleased with the results and, even better, it's more than 90% Made in the USA.
