Breakfast Nook Banquette
Thanks to the power of Ryobi, I built a banquette in my breakfast nook! This is a heavy duty banquette with storage under the seats and fully wired with outlets on each end. In order to create this banquette, I utilized the Ryobi Miter Saw to build a large frame out of 2x4 and mounted it to the wall studs. This is a floating banquette that sits nicely on the floor without having to ruin the beautiful hardwood floors underneath. I built the top with ¾” MDF and sides with ½”MDF. I was able to handle this material with ease thanks to the Ryobi table saw. I also cut precise angles and electrical outlets with the Cordless Ryobi Jigsaw. Finally, I was able to screw the entire banquette together utilizing the Ryobi corded variable speed drill that gave the power and versatility needed for this project. Cushions are being custom made with black vinyl to match the rest of the house. I definitely wouldn’t have been able to do this without my Ryobi tools!
