Backyard garden shed assembly and customization

Me and my 12 year old son assembled a "pre-cut and ready for assembly" 8'x12' shed purchased from a warehouse store. We customized the shed by adding a loft and two shelves with a pocket hole jig. It took about 8 weekends and lots of evenings to complete the shed project.

As a not-so-experienced DIYer, I made some mistakes, including installing the windows up side down. We managed to correct all of the mistakes. The shed was the biggest project I have ever done. It was hard sometimes, but it was a fun family project in the end. I am proud of myself and my 12 year old son.

Thanks, Lazo-Campbell. We drove in lots of screws instead of nails. With Ryobi impact driver, it was easy!
