Rustic Screen Doors
I’ve just joined the Ryobi Nation…and I can’t figure out why it took me so long! My husband and I have shared a set of Ryobi tools for more years than I can remember! We used several of the 18v. Cordless Drills to help us build our Log Cabin Home in 2000-2002 and have continually added to our collection since.
About 6 years ago my husband suggested that I try my hand at carving. When I resisted he bought me the wood and the tools knowing that I couldn’t help myself. Once I completed my first project I was hooked! I’ve been carving and woodworking ever since. My husband happily shares his workshop with me (most days) and I grumpily give it back to him when he has projects to do.
I mostly make Rustic Screen Doors featuring the local animals of the Adirondacks. I can hardly believe that I have hand carved, hand cut, hand sanded, hand stained and hand painted over 30 Screen Doors! And yes, that IS my idea of fun!
The first photo is my most recently completed doors. The next photos are of each individual door. Each door takes between 25-40 hours of work including design, woodworking, sanding, staining and drying time.
I like the little shed, it's cute!
The love Celcia pours into these products is obvious. Quality like this cannot be beat!
These doors are amazing! Thanks for sharing.
