Recycled wood chicken coop
Decided to add a few chicks to our flock this spring. That meant a new chicken coop.. Didn't want to spend much money though so I found all wood and parts for this second hand.. The old wood was just sitting in a pile on our land and rotting away.. Chickens love it..!!! I still need to find some decent tin for the roof and a few more little things and its all done.
Looks great hope I can do that good. My wife wants a coop for some chickens also.
Well done. Before my back gave out, I would drive around looking for someone that was putting up a new fence. I built tons of furniture using that free wood. I was happy to get it, and they were glad they didn't have to pay to have it hauled off. I got 3 loads from a guy and hauled them in my restored 69 Lincoln Mk V. It probably looked funny, but that's what I was driving when I found it. I sure hated giving up my woodworking. Such is life.
Dan that is a great idea.. I never thought of that.. I might have to keep my eye for new fencing going up in the area..
