    • For a dog crate, it sure does look like a piece of furniture. Well done.
By mrpip, on February 13, 2017

    • Love this design, Excellent work! Not to be negative, but I don't understand how this won a pipe challenge for February? Where is the pipe in the project?

    • Are there detailed plans on how to build this project? Love it!!
      By maryjo.chronis, on March 5, 2017
      • Thanks, the closest thing to plans I have is a sketch up model that I made. If you give me your email I'll gladly send the file to you. It's not very detailed, but it helped me a lot when I was building it. I wish I was better at making plans for my projects. Thanks again
By sugarfreeschwartz, on March 5, 2017

    • Please send me a copy of your sketch... would love to make this for my chihuahuas....

      • No problem, what's your email and I'll send you the file.
By sugarfreeschwartz, on March 5, 2017

    • Here's a link to download the SketchUp file for anyone who is interested. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B6F6EhlSRTBqTVZtREpFWUdPQTA?usp=sharing

    • Sugarfreeschwartz strikes again! This really looks great- it's amazing that this is your first furniture attempt! The stain looks perfect- what color did you choose?
By RYOBI Nation, on September 6, 2016
      • Thanks! We really like it. For the stain I used the industry standard Dark Walnut.
By sugarfreeschwartz, on September 7, 2016

    • Great work! Thanks for sharing!

    • I love the legs on both the table and benches. They give the project a flair. You must be a busy man. lol. Woodworking was the best hobby for me. Looks that way for you too.

    • These turned out beautifully, and so cool that they can be reconfigured to suit whatever need your friend has! Awesome concept (and a really fun color choice!)

    • These are awesome! Not surprising at all that you've already built a second set- who wouldn't want these? Those bottom braces do look like they required some skill to get just right- you nailed it, though! Very nice work, as always.

      • Thanks, that means a lot. Thank you for giving me a place to showcase my work!
By sugarfreeschwartz, on August 12, 2016

    • We're so glad to see it. Can't wait to see what you've got in the works next!
By RYOBI Nation, on August 12, 2016

    • I made a set of bar stools but when I sat on them they blew up. I am a little leary of making anymore. Did you use a pocket jig to fasten your legs a braces together?
      By nairb74, on August 17, 2016
      • I used pocket holes and wood glue for all of the joints. They are very strong. I did put some screws in at an angle to attach the cross pieces at the bottom. I just covered those ones with wood putty and you can hardly see the screws. We have had them almost a year and they are still solid. Let me know if you have any more questions.

    • Awesome built! The finish looks great- very rich. And that bedspread! Perfect. This is a really high-quality piece. Did it take a while to complete?
By RYOBI Nation, on August 9, 2016
      • Thanks! I spread it out over about a week. I think the longest part was using the router on all the edges, but it was worth it. They made a huge difference.

    • Incredible attention to detail here. Aren't scroll saws wonderful? Noticed this was hanging on the wall behind the awesome desk you built. It looks beautiful in that shot too. You could probably make quite a chunk of change selling these in TN!

    • This looks so good! The colors, and the finish on the top- it really couldn't be better. It looks like you did a little distressing on the paint too- such a great look.

    • Where did you get the cushions?
By Jkrohn, on October 27, 2016
      • We got them from Target. I think they have them on Amazon as well.

    • Man the "studs" on this deck....wow!
By jwnoise, on June 28, 2016

    • I need one just like this at my house, hint hint!
By MichaelScherer, on June 28, 2016

    • Beautiful! Would love to see a step by step, especially the steps. We are planning on opening up a portion of our deck railing and putting in steps to the yard.

      • Thanks, unfortunately I didn't take too many pics in the process. I got a lot of info from decks.com. They have free plans and free material calculators. If you have any questions please let me know.
