    • What a perfect way to use that cozy little nook! The floating shelves add a lot to the space, too. The grain of the plywood looks great- it adds a lot of interest to the area. Beautiful job!

    • What a fantastic design! How neat that you created this from two different looks. Your friend must have been thrilled! Thanks for sharing the during-construction pictures, too. It's awesome to see the progression.

      • Thank you! I need to get better at making actual plans of the project!

    • Any plans or did you wing it?

      • No we didn't have any plans, I just drew up a pic but you know how that goes.... Things always come up along the way! :)

    • Great job. I'd like to see how you handled the back side. If they use it for liquor storage, tiered shelves come in handy. I recently used maple ply on a couple projects but avoided staining them. You should be proud of this project as well as the sign and coasters.

      • Thank you! I didn't realize I didn't put pictures of the back I will add them now!

    • Lindsay where did you find the mirror itself? Been wanting to do this forever now, but havent found a mirror at a decent price.

    • What a great idea! You really made great use out of every bit of that pallet! Did you have to do a lot of prep work to the pallet wood to get it ready for this application?
By RYOBI Nation, on August 31, 2016

    • Thanks! It was a super quick project! The month got away from me and I wanted to get it in before the challenge ended! Not much prep at all just getting the pallet cut apart and all the pieces cut down. As much as I love the natural wood look I think I will end up painting part of it to avoid any splinters for the little one!

    • It will look great painted! We'd love to see the pics if you go that route!

    • A phenomenal transformation! This looks like the kind of project that ends up taking weeks- and you got it done in 14 hours! The final result is truly amazing. The room looks brighter, more inviting- beautiful! You two are incredibly talented!

    • This is so great! What a neat little space for the kiddos. Did you take specific steps to get it ready for outdoor use?
