    • What a beautiful and special project! This is the kind of thing that your family can pass down through the generations. The detail on the side rails is really impressive! Was that part tricky?

      • Thanks for the comment, The side rail took some time to line up the holes for the doweling to ensure everything was straight, but once the holes were drilled it was just fitting the doweling into the bottom board and then the top board onto the doweling, then I mounted it to the frame.

    • This is an amazing transformation! It's not surprising at all that you've had some offers. It's great how you were able to leave so much of the original elements of the door intact and still give it a complete makeover. That storage chest you added is especially convenient- great storage solution.

    • This wood decor is so awesome! We really like the natural tones of the stains in this! So cool!

    • Wow, impressive! I’d love to see a tutorial on how you did it. Great work!

    • Please tell me how you made that... My girlfriend's mom would love me for making her that. Great work!!!

    • This wasn’t to hard to make just time consuming. I found an image of the logo and printed out a mirrored image on several sheets of paper to get the size I needed. Then I glued it onto the backside of the wood and started cutting it out. I used a jigsaw but a scroll saw would make it easier. I printed out the image several times to cut the different pieces then used a full image to piece it all together after everything was stained.
