Love the design of your tabletop! Did that take you a long time? I've been wanting to try a pattern like that!

Hey, Thank You. OMG...seemed to have taken for ever. So many miter cuts and so many pocketholes underneath...LOL I first made the center cross members and numbered them 1-4 underneath (I worked on the underside of the table, not knowing what the top would look like). Then I cut each board to it's respective "section" and labeled them to be placed in the same order - in case they didn't fit in another section. When all done, I glued and pocket holed each section to each other. Found the center and jigsaw cut the table. At 64" it's a huge table. Same with the lazy susan, but I wanted to contrast it with the table, so I went with the straight slats. The top is actually removable with bolts (customers request). I sandwiched the base to the top and put 4 bolts on each table skirt.

Wow! What a beautiful table- you really picked the perfect design to emphasize the beauty of the cedar wood. Love the look of the table both with and without the Lazy Susan.

You cut that with a Jigsaw!? That's really impressive. I made a round table a while ago, cut it with a router but I couldn't imagine trying to cut it with a jigsaw. Looks awesome, good work!

Yes, Thank You. And it wasn't pleasant. The locking mechanism on the jigsaw broke so it would angle about 3-5 degrees so, there was a lot of sanding involved. Good thing I gave myself some room for error. I was going to use the router, but I have never done it and I was nervous, so I went with what I am comfortable with.
