      • Thank you. The seating ended up being about two ft away from the pit and it turned out to be perfect because when sitting around the fire you got the right amount of heat. :)

    • The re-purposed brick was a great call for this build! It brings that added character you mentioned. You’ve really created a nice place to enjoy, especially on a cold night. Was the sidewalk leading up to the bonfire area also a part of the project?

      • Thank you so much that is really nice to hear! :) Yes I made a curved pathway that was leading to the outdoor patio area from my backyard door which was a little more of a challenge.

    • Curving with brick can be tricky- but you're quite the expert now. Nice work!

      • Yes needless to say it is was a little tricky but came together at the end after a lot of adjusting and cutting of bricks. Thank you again.

    • What a great turn out! Your finishing technique looks absolutely flawless. Did you create these doors from scratch or did you follow a plan?
By RYOBI Nation, on August 12, 2016
      • Thank you! No I designed them myself took a lot of trial and error but finally got the design down so that the doors aren't too heavy and easy to manage.
