    • The attention to detail is so clear here. We can imagine that was one happy client. Beautiful!

    • Such a cool way to implement the shoe rather than simply hanging it on the wall as decor. These look incredibly comfortable!

    • Love this! Great use of available material, and a great design for storage, function and form. Did you design this project yourself?
By RYOBI Nation, on September 5, 2016
      • Yes we did, it's a fairly basic design that we've modified as we went to get this as a final product, we also make a glass top version to display trophy buckles.
By Dustystarcustoms, on September 5, 2016

    • That sounds like a cool piece too. The next time you make one of the glass-topped versions, we'd love to see some pics!

    • Beautiful work! The look of live edge lumber is really rustic and timeless. What method did you use to affix the lumber to the base?
By RYOBI Nation, on September 5, 2016
      • On this one we drilled through the seat into the base then filled the holes prior to staining, it's hard to see with the grain however using pocket holes on the legs would also be an option

    • Another fantastic solution for function, form and storage. This is truly beautiful. What did you use for that aged-copper look around the inside of the frame?
By RYOBI Nation, on September 5, 2016
      • We didn't do anything special, we used Minwax stain in Provincial but we don't use any pre-stain conditioner so the new spruce 1x4's take less stain and end up with that lighter copper look than the rough cut wood and plywood

    • It really turned out beautifully. Thanks for sharing!
