Very nice! Is that poplar? I really like the color and grain.

    • We agree, the contrast of light and dark wood looks really nice! Great work!

Thanks! I was very pleased with the way it turned out! My sister really liked it when I brought it over.

Cherry and Copper Wind Chimes : AslansKnight
Thanks! She really liked them! After my granddad passed, he had a lot of unused wood in his shop - the cherry that I used was some of that wood. Grandma gave me (and my other cousins) some of the unused wood for our own use. It seemed like the perfect way to immortalize Granddad.

    Kitchen Island DIY
Very good work! Looks like a professional quality island; what finish did you use on the columns? They look very nice!

    Range cover from extra flooring
This is a great idea! I'm always worried that I might set something on a burner that's not cool since we don't have a lot of counter space. This seems like the perfect solution! Nice work!

    Oak Box : AslansKnight
They loved it! Dad also really liked the brand new Ryobi P1811 compact drill/driver kit! He's been needing a new drill for a while.
