My homemade electric guitar - Telecaster replica
Armed with tools, the internet, and determination I built this replica telecaster electric guitar. My woodworking skills were amateur at best when starting. My Ryobi tools were integral in creating both the body and neck of the guitar. The body is pine, primarily from some old wood i found in my garage left from a previous owner. The neck is hard maple. The entire instrument is finished with Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil (primarily a gunstock finish). The finished guitar exceeds even my most modest expectations, it feel, plays, and sounds fantastic.
This rocks!! Thanks for sharing with us!
Build me one. I'll pay you for it. And do the copper thing in the cavities below the pick guard to eliminate static. My two teles drive me nuts with that. Make mine blue. Please and thanks.
Love what you did! I toy around with building simpler instruments -ukes and kit banjos, but your guitar rocks!
