wood stove fireplace

We needed to install a wood burning stove to relieve some of the heating cost for our home. As there was no fireplace or previous stove installed in the house. I came across a couple pallets of bricks and decided to build a hearth and chimney backing for stove and stove pipe. In front of the hearth I installed 18" x 18" floor tile as a transition between the hearth and the carpet. I used my Ryobi 18 volt drill, compound miter saw, table saw, tile saw and chop saw with a diamond bit masion saw blade for brick cutting. Having never worked with brick before it was a total learning experience and what I thought would be a couple weeks finished after about 2 months.
