Man Cave Bar

After cutting down a red oak to make room for our swimming pool, i couldn't bring myself to turning it into firewood so i brought it to a sawmill and had it cut into 1x boards. After drying, planing and jointing, I set to work on the project. With the exception of the Chicago Bar-rail, all of the other components were constructed from the tree using my tablesaw, compound miter saw, biscuit joiner, router/router table and various hand tools. In the end, one of the most critical tools was a blow dryer. This helped in eliminating air bubbles from the two part epoxy coating on the bar top.
