Dog House

I have to admit, I am not a huge in house animal lover. The fish were fine, the cat is ok but come on, really, a 100lb dog running around inside is not a dream of mine. Of course I couldn't just leave the poor mutt outside so I had to get a nice dog house. I don't like cheap crap in my yard so I decided to build my own.

This is a 3'x5'x3'tall tog house with front porch. The entire house was sheathed with OSB on the inside and outside with 1' rigid foam insulation in the walls, floor and roof. Full ashpalt shingle roof and vinyl siding wrapped the outside. The porch and frame are of treated lumber for durability.

FYI, don't worry, during picture taking it was sitting on my garden cart for placement out back, the wheels didn't stay on. After my wife carpeted the floor and put a bed inside, little Aura wouldn't come out for a week. She loved it.
