Shutter Organizer

My wife saw one of these on Pinterest and asked if I could make one. I bought a new pine shutter from Home Depot, painted it and distressed it. I then attached some hooks to hold our keys. I used my Ryobi cordless saw to cut plywood to fill in the back of the slats. I also used my Ryobi cordless drill to install the hooks and hang the shutter on the wall.

SWEET.

WITH THE DIFFICULTY METER AT "EASY" I CAN SEE MAKING SEVERAL OF THESE AS GIFTS FOR CHRISTMAS OR BIRTHDAY'S.

SIMPLE, YET EFFECTIVE AND INEXPENSIVE.

I like this idea. My wife can have the bottom section and I could use the top for our mail.

I've got 4 shutters taken off the outside of the house... like this idea... also possible to paint with magnetic paint for added use... but very cool.
