Deck and Pergola

My friend Dru asked me to help him increase his outdoor living space by extending his existing deck and adding a shade structure. The original deck was a simple rectangle. We added 45 degree angles to for added aesthetics. We also added a wraparound step instead of railing to make it feel like part of the yard. In addition we added a pave stone patio and garden box that matched the deck from scrap.

Party your place. Best photo in the group is your cool dog of the finished deck. Very nice work. Thanks for sharing.
