Rain Barrels

We decided that we wanted to add 6 inch rain gutters to our ranch home here in Port Orange Florida. While doing so I thought it would also be nice to save some of that rain water by adding a rain barrel system. I researched several plans online but did not really like any that I found. So I invented my own. By using two 55 gallon plastic barrels and some PVC and brass piping I came up with a 110 gallon closed rain water storage system. It only takes about an half inch of rain to fill both barrels. Se pictures for details. If you would like a free copy of the plans to this system just go to: http://www.lionart.com/handy/formpage.htm
