- CUSTOM GARAGE SIGNS -

I got a idea to make these signs for my garage the other day. I thought it would be harder to do, but turns out it was easy but time consuming. I use some scrap 3/4" birch ply wood i had but you can use regular plywood to, it just may not be as smooth. get a idea of what you want your sign to look like. then draw it on the wood, try to see it in 3d before you cut out. use wood putty to smooth out areas you want blended in. i used a good paint / primer in one, and rustoleum paint for everything else. i used a airbrush on the skulls shaded areas, but it could be shaded with a brush to. I added stainless steel screws for a different look. I used a lot of ryobi tools to do these projects, but if you have a jig saw, palm sander and a drill you can make these signs to. a dremel works great for doing the fine detail work.
GO GREEN by using old scrap wood and left over paint you have laying around. most of the paint i used was ready for the trash but i got some last use out of it.
Good luck on your projects RYOBI NATION!
